You may book any and all of our services online simply by filling out the reservation form you will find in every page.
Bookings over the phone are not accepted, a reservation form must be completed and forwarded. Once received we will forward an e-mail confirmation within 8 hours. It is your responsibility to review these emails for accuracy of the detailed information. We cannot be held responsible for not reviewing your order.
Please place your reservations with Rome Limousines if you are in total agreement with the rates listed or quoted for the services requested. If you feel that our rates and are not feasible with your budget please do not place your reservations with Rome Limousines:

THERE ARE MANY CAR SERVICES ONLINE, CAN THEY BE TRUSTED?
In the last 10 years there has been an incredible increase of limousine services in Rome. In reality most of these so called “companies” are one man bands with one vehicle, a cell phone and a laptop under their car seats to check their e-mails. Some of them may speak very basic English or not at all. Many of these companies set up more than one website with different names and normally with the same rates but they all lead to the same person. They normally have no feed back on TripAdvisor that you can check.
Almost all of them have put up a website advertising an unexisting fleet with their services and rates. If they receive a booking that they cannot service they simply pass it on to another driver like themselves, if available, that also have one vehicle.
Can I trust them? Our advise would be to book with a reliable limo company with good feedback from their previous customers. They should have at least a local ground phone , maybe even a Toll Free number (should you need to call for any reason) so you can call and speak in English for any problem you should have.
Booking and giving your personal information on just any website could be very risky and you may not find anyone when you arrive! You SHOULD know who and where they are and how to call them in case of need.
Checking out serious limo companies on TripAdvisor or other serious Travel sites prior to placing bookings is also an excellent way to find information of who you are booking with.
WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED?
We DO NOT CHARGE CREDIT CARDS, the information requested is only to secure your reservations, payment is to be made directly to your driver after being services unless you prefer to pay with PayPal directly through the link on our website or trough our office staff.
We will honour your reservation by servicing your service request in a professional manner and you will honour the agreement made with our company.
For your tranquility and peace of mind please note that our company does not retain your credit card information, therefore, to book future services a new reservation form must be completed. You will receive our confirmation.
Once booked and confirmed we WILL CHARGE your credit card only in case of “No Shows”, for “not cancelling in due time”, for “leaving your pick up location”, for ” leaving with a different or wrong driver”, for “leaving the pick up point without calling Customer Care” to help locate your driver that is probably looking for you or if this is your chosen payment method. (in this case please advise our staff somes days before the service)

HOW CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY RESERVATION?
Cancellations and/or modifications of booked reservations are possible only by e-mail.
We DO NOT accept changes by phone, text, voice mail or third parties. Once we receive your e-mail request we will acknowledge the cancellation and/or modification.
The information requested is ONLY to secure your reservation although you will be responsible for the cost of service for “No Shows”, for not cancelling via e-mail in due time (48 hrs. prior to the service requested for local transfers service, 7 days for Tours and Shore Excursions and 50 days in case of Multidays Package), for leaving your pick up location with a different or wrong driver or for leaving without calling Customer Service to help locate your driver that is probably looking for you.
Once we have received this information along with the services requested we will process and confirm your reservations normally within 8 hours.
Refunds requested after having made payment in due time will be refunded in full MINUS THE PAYPAL FEE.
WHERE WILL I FIND MY DRIVER AT THE AIRPORT?
Once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs you will enter the main hall. Your driver/escort will waiting in the Meeting Point Area area holding a Bob’s Limos sign with your name.
Normally due to the slow luggage return service at the Rome airport you should be out between 45 to 60 minutes after actual landing time. Our driver will be at the Meeting Point Sign, which is 50 ft. to the left when entering the main hall of the airport, 45 min.after your flight lands holding a Bob’s Limos sign with the name shown on your reservation confirmation. Your driver/escort will meet you at the “Meeting Point” sign area. DO NOT EXIT THE AIRPORT and always check that you have the right driver.

If it is taking you more time than necessary to come out due to luggage return delays or reporting lost luggage, either call us from a nearby phone Toll Free or at our office number to advise or ask the customs police officer to let you come out for just a moment to advise your driver that you are reporting lost luggage and will need more time.
If you do not exit into the main hall or you do not locate your driver please call our office and we will help locate your driver. If you have given us a phone number we may make attempts to call you, but you should call us. After these attempts, and after 1 hour after landing time, if we do not receive your phone call or message to advise that you have arrived, our driver will leave the pick up location. If you contact us after this time you may have to wait if we have another car to be available for your transportation.
If you do not contact us a “No Show” charge will be made.
Please remember that the drivers or escorts are not allowed in the baggage claim area.
If you experience a long delay when retreiving your luggage , please contact us at one of the numbers provided above. In any case Airport Waiting Time will be charged waiting 1 hour from effective landing time.
Driver airport waiting time which is 25 Euros p/hour for a sedan, 30 Euros p/hour for a Van and 35 Euros p/hour for a Multi Van.
If you miss your flight or if it was cancelled please advise as soon as possible with your new flight info.
If you are departing from a HOTEL your driver will page and wait for you directly in the hotel lobby and we will wait you for a max 15 minutes from the secheduled pick up time.

WHAT IF MY FLIGHT ARRIVES EARLIER? WILL I FIND MY DRIVER?
During the night local time our driver can not track your flight but so at times you have to wait until your driver arrives.
During the day our driver will track your flight but at times you may have to wait a little until your driver arrives. In boths cases simply advise us that you have arrived and you can take seats at the Coffee Shop directly behind the Meeting Point and enjoy an Italian Cappuccino and/or Italian Pastry while waiting. Our driver will go there to meet you. WHAT IF MY FLIGHT IS DELAYED? WILL I FIND MY DRIVER?
Of course you will because your driver will track your flight, but if you do not come out after 90 minutes because you cannot find or retrive your luggage and must fill out forms please call Customer Care at the numbers provided and advise of your situation. Our driver may have to leave for another service. We will do our best to provide you with another vehicle hoping to have you wait the least possible time. In the meantime you could take seats at the Coffee Shop which is directly behind the Meeting Point and enjoy an original Italian Cappuccino and/or Italian Pastry.
AT WHAT TIME SHOULD I BOOK MY CIVITAVECCHIA PORT TRANSFERS?
Although we understand many cruisers are eager to get on board as early as possible, if you arrive too early you will find yourself waiting with hundreds of other passengers in a hot tent for the ship to open for boarding, and finding yourself waiting in long lines to go through security machines. Normally ships sets sail between 5 pm and 7 pm. Check with your cruise line when your ship leaves port and book your transfer accordingly.
Pick up for shared shuttle transfers from the Civitavecchia port are at 7 – 8 – 9.30 am. Our driver can wait for a maximum of 15 minutes after your scheduled pick up time. Book your exit with the cruise line accordingly. We cannot be held responsible if the cruise line does not let you off at the right time, this issue should be taken up with the cruise line. If you do not locate your driver at the ship’s exit 15 minutes after your scheduled pick up time he must leave with the other passengers. HOW DO I KNOW IF IT”S YOUR DRIVER?
Once you have located your driver with a Bob’s Limos sign with your name please CONFIRM that he is REALLY your driver. If he does NOT KNOW your destination or rate he is NOT OUR DRIVER, he has most likely copied your name from a Bob’s Limos sign. Leaving with a wrong or different driver will cause a “No Show” charge to be applied. Please BEWARE of phony drivers at airports and ports. ARE THE RATES PER PERSON OR PER VEHICLE?
Our rates for private services are per vehicle and NOT per number of persons (unless specified). The rates with our English speaking driver tours and excursions are based on the specific vehicle service.
SHOULD I CARRY A CELL PHONE WHEN COMING?
When and if possible we suggest anyone visiting Italy to bring a cellular phone as payphones are practically inexistent and not many people speak English. It could come in handy to advise of your situation not to mention incoming calls you can receive. Check with your local provider for information.
Shared shuttle transfers are allowed 1 large and 1 carry on per person, every extra piece of luggage is 10 Euros for the large luggage and 5 Euros for the carry ons. Scooters or wheelchairs cannot be considered part of the luggage and a private service should be requested.
IMPORTANT : DEMONSTRATIONS
Demonstrations take place in Italy from time to time in response to world events or local developments. United States citizens should keep current with media coverage of local events and be aware of their surroundings at all times. We remind U.S. citizens that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid the areas of demonstrations, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests or demonstrations.
We strongly recommend that U.S. citizens traveling to or residing in Italy enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at “https://step.state.gov/step/”
STEP enrollment gives you the latest security updates, and makes it easier for the U.S. embassy or nearest U.S. consulate to contact you in an emergency. If you don’t have Internet access, enroll directly with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING MEALS – COFFEE SHOPS – SHOPPING OR RELATED ISSUES:
Rome Limousines can not be held responsible and declines any responsibility of service or charges made by restaurants, cafes, souvenir stores or shops of any kind that you have chosen or have been suggested by third parties while being transferred or while on one of our tour excursions. It is your responsibility to view the list/ menu of products, food, drinks or other to be ordered. If the list with prices or menu are not available you should then ask for the prices directly to the person who is serving you and pay for what you’ve requested and received. If there is a complaint to be made of any kind it is to be done immediately to the waiter or owner of the souvenir store, restaurant, cafe or any other sort of shop involved. Rome Limousines cannot be held responsible for over tipping a driver or for mistaken payments to shops or restaurants. It is your responsibility to check the invoices before using your money for shopping, restaurants or whatever.
Personal items left behind in our vehicles Bob’s Limos cannot be held responsible for personal items that are left behind in any of our vehicles. It is your responsibility to check your luggage, carry ons phones, cameras etc. before leaving. If any items are left behind and found after the drop off extra costs may incur for it’s recovery if our service is necessary.
ARE ENTRANCE FEES INCLUDED ON TOURS?
No, our rates DO NOT include entrance fees, private guides or meals unless specifically mentioned on your Reservation Form.
For the Vatican tour we recommend pre purchasing tickets through our website by clicking on the Vatican link in order to avoid long lines and take the tour at the hour that you prefer. We will provide transportation and Vatican guide if requested.
**The Vatican does not accept pre -reserved entrance tickets on the last Sunday of every month as it is free entrance and you will surely have to wait in line a long time. If possible we do suggest not to tour the Vatican on Sundays.
WILL YOUR DRIVER USE HIS CELLULAR PHONE WHEN DRIVING?
During your transfer our driver may have to make or receive brief phone calls exclusively regarding his services. Our driver will use ear phone when using the phone which is authorized by law. It’s part of our job so please bear with us.
ARE THE VEHICLES SMOKE FREE?
Our vehicles are all smoke free and to be found clean and fresh for our clients during the entire work day. We do not allow smoking or eating inside our vehicles. If you absolutely must make a quick stop for one of these reasons please advise your driver if it is possible.
WILL OUR DRIVER RESPECT THE SPEED LIMITS?
Of course he will, our drivers will always respect the speed limits because points will be taken off his drivers license for speeding if he is stopped. If you feel that you are uncomfortable with your driver’s speed simply ask him to slow down.
DO I NEED A PRIVATE TOUR GUIDE FOR YOUR TOURS?
**Although many tours can be taken on your own with an audio guide, to appreciate and visit the most important sites of our tours we recommend using one of our private tour guides for the Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel and for the site of Pompeii
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TOUR GUIDE AND A TOUR ESCORT WITH A BUS WITH OVER 8 PASSENGERS?
We offer two different services that of course are quoted differently:
a) a bus with driver and tour guide. A tour guide has a license (usually issued by the state / country). He/she has attended “guide” school to learn all about the sites that you visit. A licensed tour guide is allowed to enter and narrate the historical sites with you and tell you the history. Naturally, their services will cost more.
b) Bus with driver and tour escort guide which is training to be a guide but does not yet have the license.
Honestly, their services are most requested since they study a lot and most of them are still at school. They give you more or less the same information that the professional guides. They speak English and are well mannered, however due to strict Italian laws & regulations that protect officially licensed guides, our tour escorts and driving-guides can explain the sights only from inside the vehicle but are not allowed to do so once they are outside the vehicle. Their services cost less than a licensed tour guide.
ABOUT DRIVER-GUIDE /TOUR ESCORT /TOUR GUIDE
Although we are proud that our drivers have been given the title “guide drivers” for their wealth of information, they are not allowed to accompany you during the duration in the historical sites, with the exception of an emergency.
It would be our pleasure to provide private tour guides for the individual or all historical sites at your request.
Tour escorts also never accompany you into the historical sites, except in case of emergencies.
WILL WE BE CHARGED IF OUR SHIP DOES NOT DOCK AT SCHEDULED TIME?
Of course not, but if the ship does come in late your driver will wait for you and will perform your programmed tour, or your tour will be re-scheduled for when your Cruise does arrive at the Port.
ARE TIPS INCLUDED ? IF NOT WHAT IS CUSTOMARY?
We do not include gratuities in our service rates. Although many American Limo companies include a 20% tip on their invoice we prefer to leave this up to you and our driver will surely appreciate having done a good job for you. Normally, a 10-15% tip is customary if his service was appreciated.
